We’ve worked with Park Resorts for the past five years, through three website versions, culminating in the launch of the current site in the summer of 2007. This site is now the best-performing sales channel for Park Resorts. The UK caravan holiday sector has also seen huge changes in this period.

When we first started working with Park Resorts, they were reliant on early-season bookings via red top promotions (e.g. The Sun deals) for their sales.

Since then, holidaymakers have been booking later and later, and the market has become more competitive at the same time. Press still plays a key role in the first part of awareness; 67% of the search population is driven to search by offline channels (source: iProspect).

So the web has had to perform for Park Resorts. We designed the website to interface effectively with the Yucca-run PPC search strategy, which has achieved a lower cost-per-acquisition than any other channel over the past 12 months.
