08/10/10 - Best B2C EPiServer website win
Silverstone wins best B2C EPiServer website
Some of the Yucca team popped along to the UK EPiServer Customer and Partner Day yesterday. It was a brilliant day held at the Emirates Stadium in London.
I presented the case study Keynote with Silverstone, which was great fun. We talked through the task of taking the Silverstone brand experience online with a demonstration of what it’s like to hit a high-speed corner in the wet at 100 mph+ with a professional driver, and then momentarily lose traction (you can hear just how utterly utterly terrified I was in this YouTube video).
But the highlight of the day had to be the Silverstone website winning Best B2C website. The judging panel said:
“We were very impressed with this visually appealing website, which has drawn in a huge increase in visitors and the time they spend on the site.
This website has been able to effectively promote all parts of the business, demonstrable in the significant revenues generated.
The ROI of 1130% in just five months is phenomenal.”
It was a real honour to pick up the award on behalf of Silverstone and the Yucca team, and to have so many of the Yucca team in attendance was a huge bonus.
Thanks to Silverstone for being such a great client and entrusting their brand to us, and to the Yucca team for such a wonderful delivery.
Finally, a big thank you to Katie from Silverstone for presenting the case study with me earlier in the day and for putting up with my ‘craaaazy’ quips throughout the talk.
