Despite the weather warnings
Yucca headed off to the beach again this weekend for the yearly camping trip. The wind blew and the rain fell. But we were not broken. For we had a gazebo, pizza and Thatchers organic cider.

Karl & Brian push the creative boundaries
On the Saturday night of Yucca camping we all got together for a bit of a jam. The playing order ranged from Foo Fighters, Be Good Tanya's right through to this classic Britney Spears song 'Hit me baby one more time?'.
Indeed the video is grainy but it is worth it for the sound alone, classic stuff.
Resistance is futile...
Anyone who has sat through one of our creds presentations will know that one of our selling points is that we use humans to manage our paid search campaigns NOT robots.
So, this picture taken of Arwyn at our recent Yucca camping trip is a little awkward to explain, as Arwyn is looking very robot-like.
Arwyn is a human, he has a pulse, oh and a ‘Yucca Brain’!
Fab weather as Yucca heads (further) west
We all shipped out and headed west to Devon this weekend.
Fantastic weather meant clear skies which was great for spotting Perseids Meteor shower. Also meant we could all surf with just our board shorts on which is a big big treat in this country.
Surf on Saturday was a mellow 2ft, really ‘clean’ which means the waves stay well lined up and are easier to catch.
This picture is of Brian and Karl having a bit of a jam, the song here is the ‘Foo Fighters – Hero’. Highlight of the set however was definitely Brian's rendition of ‘Britney Spears - Hit me baby one more time’. I've got a video of this and will post it on the blog in due course!
Cant get geek out of my head
Our plot number at ‘Le Piddey’ campsite just outside Lacanau, Southwest France was 404.
404 also happens to be the web error code for when your web browser cant find a page. Of course we don’t have many of these at Yucca Media (according to our tech dept) but when we do we’ll use this funky looking tree to inform you.
Yes I am a geek!
No 4-man tent for us
A far cry from our usual camping experience of duvets, inflatable mattresses and cooking stoves.
We made fire the caveman way, slept in handmade shelters and got water from a nearby stream. No rabbits were skinned though much to the joy of Arwyn who'd spent last week playing Watership Down.
All good training for when the apocalypse comes!
Sunset over Mortepoint
Yucca headed west for Kats birthday bash. Absolutely fab weekend. This sunset ended in a mad mushroom cloud type effect.
Richie mused that this was caused by the sea mist magnifying the suns rays. He also ranted on that this is the reason why the sun and moon look bigger at different times of the year… dust in the atmosphere?
